The guy's name is Gary Washburn, and he was the only person to not give Lebron James a 1st place vote. Lebron did in fact receive 1st place votes from all of the other voters totaling to 120 votes. The internet mob erupted as news broke of the non-unanimous results. So much in fact that Mr. Washburn posted a write up justifying his vote: Why my MVP vote went to Carmelo Anthony. So before we bite Mr. Washburn's head off and accuse him of purposefully sticking out like a sore thumb, let's take a deep breath and reason this out practically.
Reason #1: Lebron's Supporting Cast.
"If LeBron was taken away from the Heat, they still would be a fifth or sixth seed."

Reason #2: He is a Boston guy, and is upset that the Celtics' reign in the East is over.
Reason #3: He actually ment to vote for Lebron and messed up, but he is acting like he ment to so he can get more followers on Twitter.
You could argue that Washburn looks pretty smart now that Lebron played terrible in the opening game of his series against the Bulls. Something tells me that somewhere in Boston, he was smiling as he watched Lebron struggle against the over phsyical Bulls. But...Carmelo didn't look so hot in his most recent performance either, so you still lose Washburn.
